Woodbury is a new resort-quality community development site situated in the heart of Irvine, California. It consists of over 4,200 houses, condominiums, and apartments along with recreational amenities, community buildings for social and civic activities, and retail and commercial centers. Woodbury was designed by the Irvine Community Development Company, a subsidiary of The Irvine Company. Marina Landscape sprayed a hydromulch mixture for dust and erosion control over more than 500 acres of pads and slopes throughout the site for multiple contractors, including Post Grading Company, All American Asphalt, Hillcrest Contractors, Pinnick, Inc., and Shimmick Construction. Marina provided service, a quality product, and customer satisfaction, all within budget and on schedule.
Marina has maintained The Gateway since construction, and this has helped in understanding the design intent and addressing problems unique to this property. Throughout the passageways and parking structures are planters with microclimates, creating challenges for proper irrigation, plant selection, and pest control. The irrigation system is extensive, and the valves, spray heads, and Netafim pipe require continual attention. The palms and trees also get regular inspection and programmed care to ensure strong, healthy plant material. Marina's complete maintenance program has helped make The Gateway a beautiful place to live.
