Petco Park was a demanding and challenging project; the logistical and technical requirements were extraordinarily difficult. In order to complete over $2.5 million in landscape and irrigation work, Marina had to coordinate its efforts with dozens of other subcontractors while performing amazing feats, such as planting 72" box trees in planters eight stories high and shrubs on top of a twelve story tower. Marina also installed the playing field, meticulously conforming to all requirements of major league baseball specifications. All levels of the Marina team, from the field crew to the owner of the company, were fully engaged in making Petco Park the huge success that it is today. Every time the San Diego Padres play at home, Marina is proud of the instrumental part they played in the partnership that built Petco Park.
