This design-build project was contracted under SJ Amoroso Construction. The parking structure/facility building was a LEED project in the urban core of Los Angeles, adjacent to the MTA Maintenance Facility. Adjacent to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Facility, this high-traffic zone was designed with minimal water landscaping. Decomposed granite mulch was used to create the ability to pick up litter in all the planters. The landscape and irrigation were able to contribute LEED points to the certification of this building.
