Dignity Health Sports Park

This 27,000 seat soccer stadium and athletic complex is beyond state-of-the-art, from the building materials used to the USGA-specified field construction on all of the natural turf playing fields. The project proved to be one of the most challenging Marina has ever tackled, due to many critical landscape design changes during construction. For instance, no drainage systems were specified in the original plans, and Marina had to design and install all of them. Also, the track and field were built out of sequence; Marina was required to bridge the track to import thousands of tons of rock, sand, and equipment onto the field. Even under seemingly impossible deadlines, Marina completed the project in time for opening day at each sporting event.
