Restoration Prado Dam Prado Dam, completed in 1941, is a flood control and water conservation project constructed and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Plans got underway in 2005 to improve the dam to increase its storage and release capacities. Marina is providing landscape revegetation and temporary irrigation on 147 acres of disturbed area. The work consists of a weed abatement program which includes three grow and kills to prevent invasive species from contending with the site’s natural resources. In addition, Marina is tilling in a soil amendment over the site’s 147 acres, installing a temporary irrigation system designed by our in-house design team and engineered by our field superintendent, and then applying a hydroseed mixture over the entire area. We will conclude our job by maintaining the site for one year.
