In 2010 Marina Landscape, Inc. was awarded the subcontract agreement to perform landscape and irrigation on the CHOC South Tower project with McCarthy Building Companies. The project consisted of two upper-level garden areas, the Children's Terrace and the Dining Terrace. Within both terraces Marina was required to install numerous site furnishings, pots, benches, trash receptacles, a dry creek riverbed, lightweight topsoil, boulders, synthetic rubberized surfacing, and even a six-foot tall, handcrafted CHOC bear.
Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is an educational and teaching hospital containing 570 beds. The consolidation of medical services has led to the creation of the new 403,000 square-foot outpatient treatment center and support building.
Hope on Broadway is an affordable housing project in Los Angeles, CA. Marina joined Hoffman Management & Construction in this development to provide more affordable housing to the community. Marina installed synthetic turf, landscape, and irrigation for this project.
A mental health and wellbeing campus with supportive medical services targeting the homeless community in Los Angeles. Built in three phases, the LAC + USC Restorative Care Village consists of the Acute Care Hub and Wellness Hub.
Located in the West Athens neighborhood in Los Angeles, Safe Landing is a 136,000 square-foot homeless shelter that contains 176 beds. The new shelter comprises of an intake and clinic building, dorm rooms, and a landscaped courtyard.
The Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion (AHSP) at Cedars-Sinai is a state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified facility designed to integrate research, clinical care, and surgical innovation under one roof. This 8-story structure, built above six levels of subterranean parking, houses advanced medical and procedural areas, an imaging center, and a modern conference center. Pedestrian bridges connect the Pavilion to the main hospital at both the Plaza and Surgery levels, creating seamless access for patients and staff. AHSP represents Cedars-Sinai’s commitment to cutting-edge healthcare and sustainability.
