Gerardo Flores

Gerardo Flores serves as President of Marina Landscape, where he leads company operations with a people-first approach and a deep commitment to growth, collaboration, and excellence. His career began with a simple goal: to support his family. At 18, he came to the United States from Mexico determined to create opportunity for those he loved—a decision that sparked a lifelong passion for the landscape industry. Gerardo learned the industry from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience that shaped both his leadership style and his deep respect for the people behind every project.

Since joining Marina Landscape in 2001, he has grown through a series of leadership roles spanning purchasing, project support, and operations. Today, he is known for his hands-on leadership, his belief in developing people, and his commitment to creating opportunities for others to succeed. He believes leadership is about helping others succeed—both in business and in life. He is passionate about recognizing each person’s strengths, opening paths for growth, and building a culture where people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Gerardo is especially proud to serve an employee-owned company where individuals can take pride in their work, their growth, and their shared future.

Outside of work, Gerardo is a devoted husband, father of six, and grandfather who finds his greatest joy in family. Whether he is traveling to visit loved ones, enjoying time at home, or cheering on his favorite teams, he values connection, gratitude, and making the most of every moment. Those closest to him know him not only as a leader, but as someone who leads with heart, humility, and genuine care for others.
